Southwest Florida College students to visit a premier Help Desk and the Help Desk Analyst of the Year Awards

Southwest Florida College Information Technology students will visit South Florida Information Technology Premier Help Desk and participate in the South Florida Help Desk Analyst of the Year Awards celebration on December 13, 2011. Southwest Florida College is a Silver Member of HDI (formerly the Help Desk Institute). Many of the classes taught at Southwest Florida College help prepare students for Tier 2, 3, 4 jobs in an IT Organization. The HDI Analyst of the Year Awards celebration will honor one winner who will represent the HDI South Florida chapter. The winner will also compete at the HDI Southeast Regional level competition and will receive free conference admission valued at $1695 for the Annual HDI National Conference in April of 2012 in Orlando, Florida, where the statewide 2011 HDI Analyst of the Year will be awarded. Cengage Learning has paid for the bus to transport the Southwest Florida College students on this trip. Breakfast will be served on the bus and is being paid for by Pearson Learning.
